By popular request we decided that we would like to do more dirty pirates, to compliment our glam pirates. I also liked the idea of not scoffing a dirt or rain. Now what kind of a pirate does *that*?

I only helped 1/2 way on the male pirate. I actually taught him how to sew so except for the hard bits, he did most of it.

They are made of cotton and gauze and leather. I even made the female pirate twice, I used a heavier cotton base for "cold" days. I now have two versions, summer and winter. I'll be making frock coats for both of them in a few months.

Come back in a week for several more photoshoots in Laguna Beach. My friend Carmen was awesome enough to take pictures during the shoot so that I could post them sooner. She's a pretty good photographer herself!
