This was certainly quite a project on which I received very little advice when I asked for it, so I am quite proud of the fact that it turned out so nicely. The wings are made out of 14g wire which was....HELL....to bend. In fact I had to get a guy to do it. They are covered in organza with all sorts of flowers and glittery items from Michaels sewed and glued on. A bouquet of flowers hides the frame which rests on my back. The crown was constructed out of a hair band, covered in fabric and more leaves and flowers. The bodice and skirt I made myself - picking out the fabric was a challenge to match all the textures and colors. The boots I purchased and decorated. |
