The Red Peasant Dress came out of a desire to wear something to the local Renaissance Festival.  It cost me about 50 bucks and took a couple of hours to complete.  The hardest part was picking out coordinating colors.  That probably took longer than the actual sewing. Red comes in a thousand different versions as you can imagine. Same with cream. Getting the three to co-ordinate is incredibly obnoxious.
