Bob liked pirates long before the movies came out and designed this pirate himself. I only had to sew the vest and pants here.  This costume and mine were eventually dubbed the "Hollywood Pirates" since they were so flamboyant and cliche. While we got a lot of fun and use out of them, because of their cliche-ness, both outfits were retired. We have moved on to make more realistic looking pirate costumes and continue to have fun.

Construction Details: The buttons and beads and much of the jewelry were from Hot Topic, Spencer and Wal-Mart.  The tricorn was from Excalibur Leather, the boots from Caboots, the belt and baldric from The Dorsett House, the accessories are either from Renfest or eBay and Bob created the red accents on his own.  I also at one point made him a nice jacket too.

These pictures are dated of course. He changed the costume around a dozen times with different colored shirts, guns and a different sword. It's hard to keep up with him as he is always finding new accessories, even with his current pirate costume.
