I designed these costumes based on the drawings of Joe Corroney (L) and Warren Fu (R). Joe has used Vaderpainter for previous artwork so we enjoy working with him.

We hand made every single bit of these costumes but did have the masks comissioned and a leatherworker custom make the leather bits to our design patterns. Nothing else was purchased premade besides the wig or hands. Even so, it was all modified to work. It took 2 months to complete and I lost track of the monetary value, not that it matters. These were not "easy" by any stretch. VP did assist with painting, gluing and hardware so I can't claim I made the entire project on my own.

The shirts and pants are all cotton gauze strips glued onto shirts and long underwear. The other light cotton bits (skirt, belts, etc) are medium weight muslin with some nice texture to it so as not to be "flat" looking like cotton can be. The vests and arm pieces are a heavy pile cotton, kind of like velvet. The weapons are made of metal, cut and welded by VP. The entire ensemble was weathered with spray paints and automotive paints so as to not look too shiny.
